CORONAVIRUS: An Opportunity to Face and Conquer our Fears

In episode 85 of Fresh Tracks I speak with Vincent Genna about the value of using the coronavirus pandemic and the change it has brought the world for our own healing. Vincent explains why we can choose to make this an opportunity for healing and choose to be in a different, better place after the pandemic. We do this by first acknowledging that we want to change and going beyond traditional coping skills to substantive healing.

Sound good in theory yet more difficult to implement? Vince shares that it’s natural for our defense mechanisms to kick-in and try to prevent our healing and he provides tips for breaking down these defense mechanisms. We also discuss the importance of eliminating beliefs that prevent our ultimate healing. Creating Fresh Tracks starts with our accepting what is and leaning into the newness in our life. Being courageous enough to connect to our pains and parent ourselves through the often overwhelming inner hurts from the past are key to creating a more fuller and ultimately happier version of you.

Earth Day Prayer and Meditation

Earth Day Prayer and MeditationEnvironmental issues can seem overwhelming, yet when we turn our attention to small but significant acts that make an impact, we reignite the flame of hope and vision of living in harmony with nature and with respect for our planet.

I invite you to choose to lean-in today. To choose to join the collective consciousness and intentionally participate in our vision of healing our planet. Of achieving an ideal of a healthy and whole world for all.

We may not know how this vision will materialize, but what we do know is that our lives right now are different than they were even a few weeks ago. We are learning to connect and live differently through necessity. Inevitably, innovation has popped its creative head into our lives, showing us we can learn, adapt, and change quickly when we choose to. From how we work, how we use technology, to how we connect with others.

Innovation and necessity are what will lead us all to strive to live in and create a world that works for everyone.

Now is a time to first do our spiritual practices and then act on what we are inspired to do by these practices. Joining together in prayer and visioning a world of health, wholeness and vibrancy. Taking action while staying at home to bring into alignment our wishes, our vision and our actions.

Mina shares her story cutting Fresh Tracks and discusses how vital it is for women to not only show up in this world but pursue excellence while they are at it!
